About Us
The Association of Tourism and Hospitality Executives (ATHE) was formed as a 'not for profit' company in 2006. ATHE is an association of training centres who provide accredited courses throughout the world either by attendance at a centre or by distance learning directly with ATHE in the UK.
		Our Vision
		To become the world's leading association for tourism and hospitality professionals. ATHE is dedicated to continued professional development, to achieving the highest levels of professional certification, and to supporting each other in commitment to professional excellence.

Courses we have to offer
There is a large online library covering every aspect of travel,tourism, hospitality and business. Colleges throughout the UK and further afield use the site as a library for both planning and teaching. Careers Advice is also provided by professionals. Courses available include - Postgraduate Diploma in Tourism Management Advanced International Diploma in Travel and Tourism International Diploma in Travel and Tourism International Certificate in Travel and Tourism Certified Development Programme Certified Hotel Professional Certified Tourism professional Certified Business Travel Professional Certified Marketing Executive International Diploma in Business Management International Certificate in Tourism Hospitality.		During the last 12 months the Association of Tourism and Hospitality Executives has appointed more than 50 accredited centres who teach the courses in their classroom and has also been delivering distance learning courses via a number of centres worldwide including Asia, Gulf region, Africa and now Central America. Not only are the courses taken in the larger countries such as India and Pakistan but also islands such as Mauritius and Niue. ATHE is developing partnerships with Universities, Recruiting Agencies and other major organisations to add value to the courses and to provide the student with a complete package.
		Accreditation
		Many of the courses are accredited by ASET and NCFE who are major UK awarding bodies who are regulated by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority. The Diploma and Advanced Diploma are acceptable as entry to Universities including Anglia Ruskin University.

Location
ATHE is based in Norfolk, England and have sub offices in London, Delhi and Manila.
Centres are based in nearly 20 countries

Facilities
Online Library of travel, tourism and hospitality material plus tutoring facilities. Other services are provided via our partners including recruitment and further study at University.

Subject Strengths
Subject areas offered are travel, tourism, hospitality and business. The authors are experienced in business as well as the travel and tourism industry. Learning outcomes and assessment criteria are available for all topics and courses.

Chairman
Chairman of ATHE is Arthur Jones who has a lifetime experience of teaching in schools and colleges within the UK and is also an experienced author.
